Credit Report Reviews

In most cases your credit score is a major factor in your ability to get a loan and how much it costs. An overlooked or incorrect item on your credit report can negatively affect your credit score and your ability to get an affordable loan. We're available to meet with you to review your credit report before getting a loan from us or anyone else. Contact one of our loan officers when you are ready for a review.

To get your credit report, contact one of the three credit reporting bureaus listed below. If you have been denied credit, you have the right to receive a free copy of your credit report, and each of the three credit reporting agencies will provide you with a free copy if you have been declined within 60 days. Additionally, U.S. Federal law allows you to obtain a free credit report each year. Use the contact information below to learn more, and to order your annual credit report.

Options for Covering Overdrafts (Insufficient Funds)

Transfer from Savings

Upon request, we can link your primary checking account to your designated Self-Help FCU source account--usually a savings account. Funds from the source account are paid out when there are insufficient funds in your checking account. The entire balance of the source account is accessible for overdraft transfer payments, if needed.

Overdraft Line of Credit

Overdraft line of credit is a loan from Self-Help FCU designed to cover insufficient funds in your Self-Help FCU checking account. The overdraft line of credit will cover unpaid balances up to an approved amount. To be approved for an overdraft line of credit you must qualify under Self-Help FCU's loan approval guidelines.
